After 25 years of studio access and use, North Island College has terminated the club’s agreement which means the club no longer has access to studio space or kilns. We are currently researching studio and kiln space access opportunities.

The club remains active. Membership begins in September, and the club operates on a Sept- Sept year. Membership registration begins mid September and can be accessed here. This year, we are continuing to offer meetings and programs throughout the year, along with social events and our two pottery sales.

To recognize the temporary loss of studio and kiln access and use, memberships are being offered at a reduced rate for the 2025/2026 year.

While we are facing challenges, the Comox Valley Pottery Club has been thriving since the mid-1960s. With more than 70 active members who share a passion for pottery and volunteer their time and energy, we are confident we will meet these challenges and continue to grow.
